Tax declarations (Form 12BB)

Form 12BB Submission

Employees can submit their tax declarations through the ESS portal:

1. Navigate to ESS > Tax Declarations
2. Choose tax regime (Old or New)
3. Under Old regime, declare investments: 80C (PF, PPF, ELSS, LIC), 80D (health insurance), HRA, LTA
4. PeopleOS compares both regimes and shows which saves more
5. Submit for payroll processing — TDS will be adjusted from the next pay cycle
