Setting up salary structures

Salary Structure Configuration

Navigate to Dashboard > Salary Structures > Create New. Define the salary components and their calculation rules:

  • Basic — Fixed amount or % of CTC (must be ≥ 50% of gross per Labour Code 2025)
  • HRA — Typically 40-50% of Basic
  • Special Allowance — Balancing component
  • Conveyance, Medical, LTA — Optional allowances

Labour Code 2025 Validation

PeopleOS automatically validates that Basic + DA constitutes at least 50% of gross salary. Non-compliant structures are flagged with specific remediation guidance before they can be saved.
