Professional Tax setup by state

Multi-State PT Configuration

PeopleOS supports Professional Tax for all 36 states and UTs. To configure:

1. Go to Dashboard > Compliance > Professional Tax
2. Register your PT numbers for each state where you have employees
3. PeopleOS automatically applies the correct state-specific slabs

For employees working across multiple states, PT is calculated based on the primary work location. PeopleOS handles the February adjustment (higher PT in the last month of the half-year) for applicable states.
