What You Can Ask
ORIS understands natural language queries across your entire HR and payroll dataset:
- "What's our total PF liability for March 2026?"
- "Show me employees whose ESI eligibility changed in the last quarter"
- "Draft an offer letter for a Senior Engineer role at L5 with CTC ₹18L"

Actions, Not Just Answers
When ORIS identifies an action that needs to be taken, it creates a pending action in your approval queue:
- Salary revision recommendations → Review and approve
- Compliance filing reminders → Acknowledge and schedule
- Policy document drafts → Edit and publish
- Employee query responses → Review and send
Every action goes through your approval panel. ORIS never modifies payroll data directly — this is a core architectural principle.
Privacy by Design
ORIS is powered by Anthropic's Claude, but your employee data is never sent to the AI provider in identifiable form. PeopleOS automatically redacts all PII (names, Aadhaar tokens, PAN numbers, bank details) before any data reaches the language model. The AI works with anonymised, aggregated data and structural context only.
